Terms
What we owe you, what you owe us, and what happens when either side stops.

What you are agreeing to
These terms cover the Tiho applications and the services behind them. Using the software means accepting them. If you are using Tiho for an organisation, you are confirming you may accept on its behalf.
The offline editor is free
Tiho Docs used without an account and without a network is free of charge — the full editor, with no time limit and no reduced mode. That is not a trial, and we will not later convert it into one for software you already have.
The subscription
The subscription adds document storage that syncs between your machines, a mailbox, and the mail client across devices. It is billed in advance for the period you choose and renews until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period already paid runs to its end.
Prices are shown before you pay. If a price changes, the new one applies from your next renewal and never retroactively.
Your files stay yours
We claim no ownership of anything you write, store, or send. You grant us only what is technically required to run the service you asked for: storing the documents you choose to sync, delivering your mail, and holding the mailbox access described in the privacy policy.
If you stop paying
Nothing happens to your documents. The copy on your disk is the document; it stays where it is and opens in anything that reads .docx. Syncing stops — that is the whole consequence.
For a mailbox we host, you keep access to export your mail in standard formats for at least 30 days after the subscription ends, and your domain remains registered to you throughout.
If we stop
If we discontinue a service, we will say so with notice — not less than 60 days for anything holding your data — and keep export working for the whole of that period. The mail client does not depend on us to read a mailbox you already have, so it keeps working regardless.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tiho to send unsolicited bulk mail, to break into things that are not yours, or to distribute malware. Do not use it for anything unlawful where you are. We may suspend an account that does these things, and we will tell you why.
What we do not promise
The software is provided as it is. We work to keep the services running and your data intact, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and no software is free of defects. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence.
Where liability can lawfully be limited, ours is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects your rights, we will tell you before the change takes effect and give you the chance to cancel rather than accept.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the place where we are established, without displacing the consumer protections of the country you live in. If something goes wrong, write to us first — most things are resolved that way.
